Ambush Crew Recruitment Submission Video Guidelines
Important Note: Please submit your audition video as a single, continuous file. Begin with the intro questions, then transition directly into the required dance clips. Videos should be uploaded to a platform like YouTube as unlisted. Ensure the video is high quality, well-lit, and filmed in a suitable space that allows us to see your full body and movements clearly.
Intro Questions (under 1 minute)
Start your video by answering the following questions clearly and concisely, speaking directly to the camera.

What is your current grade/year in school or occupation?

How many years have you been dancing, and what is your dance background (e.g., training, previous teams, competitions)?

What hip-hop styles or other dance styles have you trained in?

Why do you want to join the Memphis Ambush Crew?

What unique skills or qualities do you bring to the team?
Required Video Clips (1-4 minutes total)
After the intro questions, include the following clips in the following order.

1. Freestyle (No Skills): Focus on groove, musicality, and personal style in hip-hop. No advanced skills or tumbling allowed in this section. Showcase your individual.

2. Class Combo: Clip of you performing a combo in a dance class (hiphop/fusion class only), showcasing someone else's choreography. Demonstrate how well you retain and execute choreography. This must be filmed during an actual class setting (e.g., with other dancers and/or instructor visible). Please credit the choreographer/instructor/studio, etc.

3. Group Routine Footage: Any routine footage where you are dancing with a group of people performing rehearsed choreography. Try to highlight yourself in the footage or indicate your position. Style must be hiphop or fusion only.
• 4. Skills Demonstration: Show any skills you can perform, such as a back tuck, aerial, tumbling, advanced floor work, breakdancing, etc. This section can be more than 30 seconds, show us everything you can do! Demonstrate each skill clearly and safely.
